I've always used 55-gallon plastic drums with 1/2" holes drilled around them, but I'm pretty sure ADPH would have a fit about it. I've heard that some companies that lease property forbid that on their lease agreements (but I don't know that for a fact).
Another guy that I know just dug a big ass hole, covered it with a piece of roofing tin, connected an elbow to the tin and ran it into the hole. It worked for as long as I was in the club.
