The dude was a bad ass and at least according to himself everyone of those 33 men deserved to be killed. He went on to a law career and finally met up with his maker. it even includes Alabama and Florida in the tales.

I'm all over the place. I never really got into fiction kind of stuff, but I'm open to it. In the past year I've read a lot of biographies, memoir type books. I like learning about new things. I just finished Path of the Puma, which was just a book all about mountain lions.

With my job, I read a lot of "spiritual" or theological based books. Love them, won't get tired of them anytime soon, but I need something else sometimes.

I think I've seen you suggest these before. I need to read the other two, but I read Sixty Years on the Plains and really enjoyed it. I let someone borrow it and never got it back. Guess I never will.

I like the jack reacher books, I am not really into fiction either but they are a good series

I read to escape reality for a bit. I like fiction, particularly mysteries and spy books. I’ll try to find some of the authors I really like.

Fifty Years a Hunter and a Trapper, by Eldred Nathaniel Woodcock. A really cool book if you enjoy reading about hunting and trapping. About a guy in Pennsylvania in the late 1800s and early 1900s who had some great tales of adventure.

Out of the Depths by Edgar Harrold. It’s the first hand account of a man who went down on the Indianapolis, and how God saved him( physically and spiritually).

Unbroken. Other than the Bible, it’s prob the best book I’ve ever read.

Capital Gains by Chip and Joanna Gaines.

Louis Lamour— the Sackett series. Takes a lot of killin’ to kill a Sackett

Zane Grey has some good one’s too. Riders of the Purple Sage and many others. He wrote some decent books for young folks too

I’ve just begun reading a new author (for me) CJ Box. He has a series about a Wyoming game warden named Joe Pickett. Is partly historical fiction. Grisham and Clancy are great but I needed a break from them. L’more is good too.

If you like Crime Drama the Book "Red Dragon" by Thomas Harris (same guy who wrote Silence of the Lambs) is one of the best I have ever read. They have made two movies based on it. One called "Manhunter" and the second called "Red Dragon". Neither lived up to the book.

Also the book "Helter Skelter" by Vincent Bugliosi and Curt Gentry about the real life Manson murders is a good read in this genre.

For Swords and Sorcery books read "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings" for sure. Also A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R Martin.

For Horror. "The Shining" by Stephen King. "The Exorcist" BY William Blatty.
