+1; i've shot 70# but 62# is a hell of a lot more pleasurable to shoot ...

I have a Bowtech Destroyer 350 with 70lb limbs, but I only shoot it at 64lbs. A lot of guys these days are so hung up on speed and that’s why they think they have to shoot 80lbs. In my opinion I think that is some of the reason these guys are blowing bows up all the time. They crank their bow all the way up and then they try to shoot the lightest, smallest and shortest arrow that they think they can get away with. I shoot a standard diameter arrow that weighs 8.9gpi and that is the lightest I will shoot out of my Destroyer. I also cut my arrows an inch out past the riser. Those things and backing my bow down to 64lbs works great for me and I still get plenty of speed out of my Destroyer. Just my two cents though.

I have two compounds, both set at 68#, shooting 570gr arras very quietly.
my recurves and longbows vary from 52-57# @28, I draw a lil less at 27".
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

61-63 is the sweet spot for me. Shot 70 when I was a young buck.
