The big concern is to get it wet enough to germinate, but then no more moisture and burns up the sprouts. That's what I'm afraid of. Were penciled in to plant on Oct 12, but in a holding pattern for now. Fields are ready but a little rain would be worse than none If you planted, had germination, then more hot dry weather. You'd have dead fields and wind up buying more seed to plant. It's driving me nuts, I'm ready to be done with it and go hunting
