I've been in the Army National Guard for 11 years. Currently at a training event at Fort McClellan through Friday. I took command of a unit in July and it's been a little overwhelming but I'm starting to get the hang of it Y’all gonna hit up Jefferson’s?

I've been handling real estate transactions after our duty day is done and haven't had time to socialize much this go around. I prefer Strut's though, or Cooter Brown's Rib Shack

6 years ARNG. My daddy was full time ARNG so I followed. Got my electronics learning and decided to get out. Overall great experience.

I have a few regrets in my life, and one of the biggest is that I never joined up.
To those of you that did serve or are currently serving, I have the utmost respect and gratitude for you. Thank You for being there when you were needed. This. 1st male in my family not to join. At least I get to lead a team that makes miltary avionics and comm hardware.

At least I get to lead a team that makes miltary avionics and comm hardware. I appreciate all those that didn’t serve due to life’s circumstances. That in itself shows the resolve a portion of our country that is willing to serve if called. There may (or will) come a day when our country demands all patriots to do their part. Those that hold the value of what our country stands for will be the ones that the nation relies upon to accomplish the mission both home and abroad. The backbone of our greatest generation was embodied in a belief of our constitution and the fortitude our forefathers enabled. One day the measure of our will shall be the determining factor of our future. Admiral Yamamoto stated after Pearl Harbor that he feared he had awaken a sleeping giant. My hope is that when that day comes regardless of age or experience, we are all willing to sacrifice for the greater good of our country.
