I think it's fantastic. Not everyone can afford to spend 2K a year on a deer lease, or $100 night to camp etc. etc. etc. People need to have access to land for recreational purposes. It's one of the few things the government has done right

I got that but I could also see a private citizen or business buying it, using it to produce income, timber, minerals, hunting rights etc improving the accommodations, charging a fee like state parks do and doing it better than the gov ever thought about
