I had a MX5100 HST. It is about the biggest Kubota you can trailer with an 1/2 ton truck. It was a great tractor, plenty of power, strong loader, ran it for 8+ hours routinely and never had issues bush hogging/disking. IF you have to trailer the tractor, get it. If you don’t I would go with the bigger tractor. I went down to a 35hp tractor (compact) and use the exact implements, bush hog and disk and zero regrets. BUT, if I lived on my land and this was my full time tractor... I’d go bigger fore sure.



Trailering it really isn't a problem but will have to be done regardless of what I get since I have 60 acres at one location and 80 at another.

Scrape, why is it that a finish mower will overheat the HST and eat up power?
