We already have Liberals trying their best to take our guns, probably not a good idea to bash our own 2nd amendment brothers because they choose to open carry. WHICH IS THEIR RIGHT!! That guy who open carries may save your life one day! Acting like an inbred attention whore is not the best strategy to thwart the liberals. Acting like a liberal Democrat trying to get elected by belittling people who exercise their God given right isn't a good strategy either God given right? I hate when people use that term. Sounds foolish. No God didnt give us any right. Man did. What does God have to do with cc? Endowed by our Creator. What does that mean to you? Our government doesn’t grant rights. Our forefathers were smarter than that. Glad you weren’t one of our founding fathers.

I'm not a big fan of open carry. Most I see doing it are wearing mom Jean's pulled up to their armpits and have a big ole set of janitor keys on their other hip, Velcro strap tennis shoes and a ruger trucker hat. They just don't look too stable to me.

Those rights; "Endowed by our Creator" is not part of the of or found in the Amendments but from the The Declaration of Independence two different and separate documents.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I'm no tactical tommy never joined the military or wanted to be a police officer.Been a handloader for 38(or 39)years have all my fingers and eyes and no idea how many dozen thousands of rounds I've loaded and shot.Rifles from .19 Calhoon to .50Bmg handguns from 3 mm Koliburi(which would annoy a praying mantis or wolf spider) to .50 Bmg (never said it was a good idea) Never felt uneasy or scared or concerned being around shooters open carry concealed carry. Why not? Because I'm a man and Liberals(misspelled on purpose) concern me far more than polymer, metal, powder and brass. The 4 rules set forth by Col.Cooper make me safe from firearms the skills with firearms keep me safe from America's enemies. "Always Carry" gets posted a lot here and that's true, but how bout a light to identify that problem? Maybe a sharp stout blade to break an contact issue? Lots of folks have basic first aid and carry an Ifak and tourniquet not a bad idea. To keep this light maybe the gun companies should neck the .270&.280 up to .30 caliber and call it the .30 whomperstomper.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

I've been to small towns in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah where I've seen OC a common practice and nobody thought anything about it. That's great. I'd love to be a resident of any of those places. But here, unfortunately, it's not the norm, and should not be a common practice.

I only open carry when I'm working around the hunting property, sometimes it's a Judge, and sometimes if I'm feeling like an Outlaw it's a SA loaded with shot shells carried in my Cowboy Gun Belt 😁
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Can you provide examples when they weren't? It's just common sense. There are no examples of either and that’s my point. There are however many examples of responsibly armed citizens stopping a crime in progress and that can refer to OC or CC. Thanks for helping me prove a point

I think open carry is stupid and reckless. A. You're just being an attention whore. B. I don't want the bad guy to know I'm armed until I need him to know. Damn we agree. Too many times I see the OC walking around like some strutting banty rooster............they are acting like they are looking for a reason. Anyway, why should they not have a permit, but I do?

You can open carry without a permit as well. Your permit is for conceal carry. The permit is a bulldoodoo move by the government anyway. They can't fully infringe on your right to bear arms so, they chose to do only the conceal part. What's even more F'd up is that carrying in your car is considered conceal carry if it is loaded.
