Look, they're essentially Bama proofing the SEC, much like the PGA did for Tiger when he was unbeatable. The SEC and CFB in general has to make it more competitive. When 1 team has won 5 out of the last 10 national championships they going to start doing crap like this to find every little angle they can to see someone else win. That's fine, it just shows they realize how good our run is and how good our team currently is. Whataloadofchit.

I don’t think it has anything to do with being biased against Alabama. Nobody wants to play afternoon games in September but that’s one of the drawbacks to playing lesser opponents when you’re tied to a big TV contract. CBS wants all eyes on Georgia and notre dame that night.
I wish for any of these little non conference games they could just say screw it and play it whenever they wanted to. I think that’s basically what LSU does. No, LSU actually lobbied the SEC to have all their games at night, and the SEC complied. https://amp.theadvertiser.com/amp/8495683
