It didn't get wet or damp on my watch so i dunno it's just strange. Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

It's taking forever to ash over in the chimney starter, and even with the dampers open all the way the temp won't hit over 270. I have lumps of Charcoal just sitting in my firebox that won't burn. If it i run out i only buy walmart bag for $5 bucks. 18 pound in that black and red bag. Wood tastes better but takes too long. I hate gas and everything about it...tanks refill store trip expensive grill. No thanks. Just give me a damn oven rack and a brick. I have a collection of old grill racks and such i collect outta garbage lol. Beats carrying a grill to a camp.
