Are any of y'all familiar with the Savage A17. I got a scope and was gonna set it up for my wife. When I put the rings on the 2 rails mounted to the top of the gun. The scope is 2 short. What do I need to to get to fix this so that I can use this scope. I got reg Nikon prostaff on my a22 works fine...what do u mean by to short The tube won't fit between the rings, if the tube was a quarter inch longer it would fit but right no it won't fit between the bells. I wonder if I'll have to replace the 2 factory rails with the 336 rail or whatever it's called, that way I can put the rings closer together when I mount them on the gun.
