Just left the Huntsville one at drake and parkway. Very little out on shelves, saw a couple knives on sale and when I was having the kid look around for the box and any more stock he opens up one of the cabinets, it was PACKED with clearance items. Apparently the manager is on vacation this week, I guess he’s going to be pissed when he gets back. I didn’t find a rangefinder or scope like I was looking for but got another pair of binos, a bunch of ammo, a lid cam and a few knives. There’s still a bunch (400-500rds) of Remington bulk pack 9mm on clearance for $11/100. It’s in one of the cabinets under the counter at the check our area

Are any of y'all familiar with the Savage A17. I got a scope and was gonna set it up for my wife. When I put the rings on the 2 rails mounted to the top of the gun. The scope is 2 short. What do I need to to get to fix this so that I can use this scope.

Can you turn the rings or mounts around so that they fit a shorter area on the tube?

The tube won't fit between the rings, if the tube was a quarter inch longer it would fit but right no it won't fit between the bells. I wonder if I'll have to replace the 2 factory rails with the 336 rail or whatever it's called, that way I can put the rings closer together when I mount them on the gun.

Is the rear base mounted in the far back? I think those have another mounting location. I may be wrong.

They only have one spot for each ring to mount. There was a $68 Nikon buckmark scope I should have drove and got but I waited one day to long. So I ended up having to buy a scope somewhere else and really like it, so I was trying to make it work.

I just checked the walmarks in Kalispell, MT... they were out of the Nikon bino’s!
