I think you are making a good decision. Especially for the money. I was cringing at the thought of what a new machines costs while there are so many well maintained low hour machines floating around out there.
My smallest tractor is a 40hp Deere with a Yanmar motor and I have not had any trouble with the motor itself. None. Can't say that for the tractor is has had it's share of electrical problems.
