There was a huge ruling against J & J for half billion dollars.
Can’t help but think this law suit will result in companies refusing to make any opioid pain meds for fear of being sued. My friend, you have found the answer to the problem. But this wont happen because there is way too much money in keeping our country addicted to prescription meds. You are exactly right though. Just imagine how much better off our country would be if the opium poppy suddenly went extinct. No more addiction to opiods, no more overdoses. The pharm companies would have to come up with a pain pill that actually helps. It would certainly be a better day. Cocaine and meth are not available by a Dr prescription. If there is a demand for it it will find it's way here no matter what
