This. However, unlike allergy meds, the opioids were over prescribed. And the majority of patients were not initially warned about their addictive properties and how they become less effective with long term use. Still I think it's absurd to blame a doctor or a company for YOUR irresponsible behavior. As a patient it's your responsibility to research and learn about your illness and the treatment.
