A guy told me 60 very fine heifers went thru cullman salebarn 2 weeks ago all weighing right at 600 lbs each. Said was the finest ones a man could ask for. Only $1.25 on them. That’s a slap in the face

So that’s $45,000 for a heap of cows. Can’t even buy a big new tractor for that. Not even close. That’s crazy.

We hauled 23 in the 5-550 range to Florence Monday before last and I’m glad that was it.. We have more to go but with the slaughter house in KS burning they don’t have anywhere to send them right now. That house was doing something like 6K head a day. That’s insane.
