its including powder magazine park and the land before it. according to google Earth thats about 130 acres powder magazine is 50 acres and owned by the Corp of Engineers l wasnt aware that the Corp would sell land they control that does appear to be the proposed location i wonder if the ramp will be shutdown? youll have to drive to cooters pond or pay at the Capital city oyster bar to launch now i guess I didn’t realize that was owned by the Corp of engineers. I would think they would be able to keep the boat ramp open. In fact I bet more people would be willing to go to it if it was built up. Less likely to have a vehicle broke into if there are more witnesses around. [/quote] the wooded area north of riverside drive belongs to the corp it looks like they are also planning on acquiring the property the salvation army operated a homeless shelter from that should also be good for the area.
