Doc, Go with a Stihl and never look back. Stihl saws are only sold through dealers. No box stores. The last one I bought I went ahead and got the professional grade saw instead of a homeowners grade. It is a beast. I bought the MS 261 with an 18" bar. I just did not want a 20" bar but you can get it with either.
