I like high rye bill bourbons, so (right now) I like the following in no particular order:

Wild Turkey 101
Bulliet Rye
Old Overholdt
Old Grandad "Bottled in Bond"
Jim Beam "Bottled in bond"
Rittenhouse Rye
Four Roses
Old Forrester
W.L. Weller (Hard to find now.)
Very Old Barton
Old Charter
Evan Williams Black

Special mention goes to:

John Emerald out of Opelika, AL.

It's very hard to find and getting kind of expensive, but if you like scotch it is one of the best whiskies out there for you. Kind of smokey for a whiskey, but very smooth and just a wonderful whiskey on the rocks.

I fondly remember one of our motorcycle trips out west and we stayed one night at the Clark House Mansion in Clarksdale, MS. We had the whole antebellum mansion to ourselves. I sat on the porch with nothing to drink and thought, "What a shame." So I hopped on my Bonneville and rode to the liquor store and the only half assed whiskey they had was Old Charter. I grabbed a bottle and stuck it in my saddle bag. I brought it back and Mrs. Irish and I had a few before walking over to Ground Zero and then to Red's Place for a serious night of blues. We slept late the next day before heading out for Hot Springs, AR. What a great trip.
