If you wire them parallel you can charge them both at the same time. I wouldn't wanna be constantly changing the cables, but you could get by with it short term.
Be careful doing this. You want batteries that are the same class and same age so one doesn’t reach full charge before the other. As long as they are the same, you are good to go.
