Not wanting to stir the pot, just want to know so if the day comes and I need to sign a card I can make a educated decision and feel confident about it,I have a cousin in the local and he is a carpenter by trade, from what little he has told me his insurance is paid for, he does have to pay dues each month, and as long as he keeps his dues paid he will always have a job to do somewhere albeit in another state sleeping in a hotel, the union will have his back...with that said, he is a contractor. The USW is trying to unionize this plant..not sure that the difference would be, hence this post 🤷
