Ok RH Clark, reading this thread has left me inspired to make some changes myself.
I told my wife that I want to start eating better and she was all aboard with the idea. As a matter of fact she was way ahead of me. She has been googling stuff about the Keto diet for a little while now. She made a trip to the Grocery store while I worked on a few projects around here.

Supper tonight consisted of grilled Flounder and grilled asparagus with a bottle of water. For breakfast tomorrow I have German style Bologna and eggs. For lunch it's deer tenderloin and Brussels sprouts. I have a small bag of almonds and another small bag of jerky if I feel the need for a snack. So with that I'm off to the starting blocks.

I'm not going to promise results as dramatic as your's but I've made up my mind that I have got to make some changes. Right now I'm 54 years old and 283 lbs at 5'10". I'll be very pleased if I'm at 230 this time next year. I know if I can stick with it I'll feel several years younger.
