Had an oil leak that I didn’t know about on my hustler mower, and now I need a new engine. Anybody got one they’re looking to sell?

I bought this brand new Briggs to replace mine from CPO Outlets on eBay for $550 last year. Very pleased. Perfect replacement on my Toro ZTR. That model Kohler sucks.

Yeah those courage engines are bad mojo. No way I would put one back on anything. Those Intek engines are not bad for a replacement, the Kohler command series are great as well.

Any chance a 17hp Kohler pro would work?

I’d try a predator from harbor freight.

For certain applications those do well, can be tough to find a muffler that will fit tho.

If your planning on keeping that mower see if you can find a Kohler Command in that HP your looking for. That courage series won't last you too long.
