FYI. Just got off the phone with St. Clair county co-op. A pallet of corn is 40 bags at 50lbs each, so 1 ton. It's $280 for a pallet, they cut you about .37 cents a bag if you buy a whole pallet. A 55 gallon drum is $43.80. It takes 5 drums to equate to a pallet. 5x$43.80=$219. So you save about $60 by buying drums , but then you have to bucket it out of there into something else and handle those heavy ass drums. Just food for thought. $280/ton is $7/50lb bag. That's not a great price. I can get it for $5.95/50lb bag even if I buy one bag.
