Has anyone in here gone to a one pin sight and liked it? I worry about a deer walking around in the hunting set up to much to set the pin for the shot. I think I would set the sight for 20 YD and just aim high or low according to the yard rang the deer was at. I have been thinking about getting a IQ sight, but on line I read good reviews about one pin sights so that's got me thinking about getting a one pin. Im going to practice with just one pin and see how I like that for now.

Been using a one pin sight close to 20 years. I set mine for 25 yards and know my spots. I range and mark yardages using trees or certain things in the woods. If I miss it ain't the pins fault.
There are two rules for success: 1. Never tell everything you know.

I’ve used a one pin sight for years and it has never cost me a deer other than setting my dial on the wrong yardage a couple of years ago. Shot was 28 yards and I set the dial at 38 instead and aimed normal. Hit the doe through the backstrap. I’ve killed numerous deer in the 35 to 40 yard range with it set on 25 yards by aiming at the top of the lungs.
I’ve got the Spot Hogg Hogg Father with the double pins on both of my Triaxs. Put the double yardage indicators on them a couple of months ago. The second pin is about 20 yards hotter than the top pin. So set at 20, the second pin is 40.
I’ll never use a sight with more than two pins on my hunting bows again. A sight you can adjust the yardage on the fly is the way to go.

I keep mine set on 30 yds. I've been wanting to go back to a 3 pin system, though.

I switched to a single pin about 10 years ago and don’t see ever going back to a multi pin sight. I use the HHA optimizer ultra with the dial.

I found a one pin made by IQ. looks interesting. It has one pin and the Retina Lock. It says " Featuring a Retina Lock system 50% smaller than the original, this sight delivers twice the sight-aligning sensitivity for even better downrange accuracy on longer shots. " Thats what they say... I need all the help I can get.. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/iq-bowsights-pro-one-1-pin-bowsight-with-retina-lockseriously I have a lot of trouble torquing the bow while shooting.

I just bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071Y32RWZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I think the 3 pin HHA is the best of both worlds. I will see how I like it this year.
