Where is the separation of church and state ammendment? I wasn't insulting you. It was an observation and personal opinion. The ammendment process was part of our founding fathers intentions so that laws could be made and ammended through a constitutional process. You used the argument for separation of church and state by citing that slavery wasn't addressed in the constitution. It was amended to address it. Where is the ammendment addressing the separation of church and state? [/quote]

It's never been seen as a requirement due to the Supreme Court decision in Reynolds vs US (1879) which determined that the 1st Amendment basically covered it and if not that Article VI did as well. But what do I know right?
