Any of you experienced ceramic grill users have one you recommend? Just want to be able to monitor the meat and dome temp without having to babysit the grill the whole time on a low and slow cook. TIA

I just got one from academy that works real well. Has two separate measurers. Useful for multiple meats or for an exact grill temp

Only accurate rifles are interesting.

Maverick et733 with the 6ft probes

I've tried 4 different ones. This one has been the best for me

try the digi Q from bbqguru.com. it has a fan you plug into the lower vent and it will control the temp inside the cooker for as long as the coal lasts.

I have the digiq and wish I would have gotten one that hooked to wifi for truly remote control. That said it works great

used one for a few years. Thermoworks runs them on sale often. Has a little satellite monitor that has saved a bunch of going outside and checking. I just picked up a signal that works with my phone and has 4 probe tracking.

it’s the lead that’s 6’, not the probe, itself.

i’m a thermoworks fan, myself. Smoke and MK4, as well as a mini quick read and a Lollipop that stays in my cooking box (bought Lollipops for presents when they went on sale and ended up keeping one).

experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

I've used the Weber iGrill 2 for probably over a year now, and been pleased. It has an app you download to communicate with the probes. You can run up to 4 probes from 1 unit, so it's nice if you are cooking several cuts of meat. You can set target temps for each probe individually. They're $65 on Amazon right now -> https://www.amazon.com/Weber-7203-i...&hvtargid=pla-304998774470&psc=1
