Triggerfish throat is the absolute best. Capn Jab turned me on to them a few years back. It's been a life changer! Lol.

its a total pain in the ass if you have a bunch to clean. 3 or 4 is one thing, but if you are cleaning 20, it turns a 30 minute ordeal into a couple of hours real quick.

I usually pick out the 2 or 3 biggest ones and get the throats.


Well....might consider taking your purse off your arm....would probably speed things up!

Popular down here. I'm not a fan of getting them out or eating them myself, so I let other folks have at them. I don't know what it is, but I have a hang up about eating fish off the bone. Filets only for me and snapper, well it always gets the grease.

Had the fried snapper and or
Grouper throats back in the day at Allen's aseafood in Panama City Beach. Some kind of good and a ton to eat.
