My favorite snake. My brother in Louisiana sent me a video of a water moccasin he killed Saturday under his new boat parked in the yard. Was still squirming but was minus his head. It was a cool early spring morning I stop and looked at him and ran the bird off. He was ready to fight all coiled up and twisting watching the bird before I pulled up close enough the bird few off.

Anyhow, I was bush hogging my property and kicked up a small cottonmouth that I chased to the pond in my tractor. I think I got him with the rotary cutter. Then I went back to cutting and kicked up a field mouse I chased around on my tractor. Where was the 22 when I needed it? No wonder the cottonmouth was hiding in the field. Got tired of frogs and was going after field mice. Note to self carry 22 with you when cutting fields to shoot the nasties!
