Girls softball is insane too. I recently watched a young family member play and folks take it way too serious. There’s literally no excuse for it. It’s not worth getting upset over. This is what keep telling my SIL/BIL but they insist that it will get her a scholarship..... believable if she could make her HS team. ....and a “scholarship” is usually to a juco, which is usually worth a couple of grand and a commitment to play sports when you should be studying. I don’t know many girls going pro in softball. Sports are great, but keep it in perspective.
