Bama not strange actually normal by far the vast amount of auburn fans Im talking lifetime folks, graduates of Auburn cheer for bama bigtime after auburn.. Probably 85-90%. Its called being a proud resident of state of Alabama and it hurts more if only Auburn beats bama. I know 100+ auburn graduates of the top of my head, some of my best friends, inlaws, coworkers, my grandad, church friends, golf buddies, hunting/fishing buddies, etc and 0.00% of them have ever cheered for alabama, in anything, ever. I'm in the 0.000000% of Auburn fans you speak of. and I respect you for it.
