What is the stuff that Alabama Power sprays on brush on the sides of the road? It looks like orange foam
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Sorry I don't. I haven't done right of way clearing in over 20 years. I've got an Asplundh supervisor who lives down the road (between me and turkey neck) I can ask him what they're using.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

The orange color is likely a herbicide surfactant such as methylated seed oil.

The orange color is likely a herbicide surfactant such as methylated seed oil. I'd say it's more likely food coloring. Lots of professional sprayers use food coloring so they can see where they've sprayed and where they haven't...makes sure they're getting complete coverage. They company that sprays at the refinery uses blue.

Prob go back and forth, but whatever they sprayed was like scorched earth a few weeks later!

You got the wrong stuff then. The stuff I use is like paint, it gets you, the ground, and everything else blue. Yep...that's how the stuff they spray at the refinery is. No doubt where it's been sprayed.

I've definitely inhaled. Just not that stuff in particular.

The orange color is just an inert marker, so the minimum wage messicans don't get confused about where they done sprayed. However the actual herbicide is something I need to find out, but I'll ask this evening and get back to you.

I dont think Apco does any of their own ROW spraying anymore. Im pretty sure they sub it all out now. Its been all amigos doing ours for the last 10+ years and they were contractors. But yes, whatever it is they spray is some good stuff and it doesnt take much to kill with it. Trees grass briars all dead.
