I hear and read quite often how putting crappie in a pond results in an overstocked issue with stunted fish because they are so prolific. Then I see posts like this and remember the couple of ponds that I fished when I was younger that had good crappie in them. Then there's also the deal about the new world record Black crappie being caught in a pond in TN, so there's that.
I'd like to hear opinions from those who would know more about this. Lefthorn?
