****WARNING - May increase blood pressure.****Why could the powers that be not treat him as an adult? I realize that he has plead guilty instead of going to trial, but aren't there cases where a juvenile is "tried as an adult"? And, why is the maximum sentence as an adult only life? Does this crime not fit the criteria for the death penalty? https://www.crestviewbulletin.com/n...Y-0b0zD-Lpr5xnwFtAMzrgox9dE7w8vjDpFE39tY Death penalty is only allowed for capital crimes involving death. The United States Supreme Court in Miller v. Alabama said that a person under the age of 18 at the time of their crime cannot he given a mandatory life sentence. They can be given life, but the judge has to have another option in sentencing.

I only read the headline. I would find a way to kill him. Period.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

The United States Supreme Court in Miller v. Alabama said that a person under the age of 18 at the time of their crime cannot he given a mandatory life sentence. They can be given life, but the judge has to have another option in sentencing. Thank you for the explanation. I just cannot understand why anyone would do such things to a child of this age. My thoughts are less black and white when talking about what it considered statutory when it comes to teenagers and those in their late teens and early 20s, but this - this is absolutely depraved and I cannot fathom any possibility of any kind of rehabilitation to correct that behavior in the perpetrator. Having a two year old granddaughter, I cannot imagine what sweet Hell at least three generations of men in her family would unleash on a POS to remove him from society if this had been done to her. I, also, cannot imagine what Hell that child suffered during and since that occurred. I just have to think that even if the physical damage has healed and there was no permanent damage, that the psychological and emotional damage may be irreparable.
