The wife and I are way overdue for an escape.. she wants to go to the beach next week and we can’t decide between Panama City Beach or to go to Gulf Shores.. it will be just me and her and will probably go Wednesday-Sunday.. anyone better than the other? We haven’t been in a few years and it was to PCB back then.

I like orange beach /gulf shores. PCB is just too many idiots likes James running around. Better make sure there’s somewhere to eat though.

Chit Orange beach/gulf shores isn't any better now. All that advertising after the oil spill sho brought in the folks though 🙄

We do OB because there isn’t anywhere to put a boat in the water in 30A area. 30A has better restaurants and is less crowded

Wouldn’t do pCB

I’ve lived in PCB and had a beach place in Walton county for years and as far as water clarity you can’t beat it. But since we made the the move to OB I’ll take the ease of getting around in traffic and less trailer trash anytime over the clearer water in PCB area.

We go to PCB but only because my in-laws have a place there and they let us stay for free. We like it real well there though but I’m sure it’s because we know where to go and where to stay away from.

We usually stay at Treasure Island as far as condos..and use to go twice a year and 10 days at a time.. I was figuring since school is still in there may not be quite as many people everywhere..

Big Al change things up and go to St George Island instead. It’s what the beach should be.

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

They should be in next month. The wife loves them also.

Dauphin Island

Of the two you listed, Gulf Shores. There aren’t many places to eat though.

When's the last time you went to Dauphin Island? Reason I'm asking is because it's really built up, when ya come over the bridge, the west end looks like a mini Gulf Shores lol.

I went last summer to a buddies house. Caught tripletail on the poles. Was a great time, plan on doing it a few times this summer

Screw the gulf, go to St.Augustine Beach on the Atlantic. There's a great B&B there that only allows 21 year old and older couples. Beach is never crowded. Bunch of great beaches in Florida if you stay away from the PCB/Ft. Walton area and larger cities.

I don’t care if I ever go back to PCB. That place is way to crowded. I would say go to Cape San Blas but I don’t know if they fully recovered from the hurricane.
