We found 44 under our hunting cabin steps in Rockford years back. Timber rattlers . 3 adults and 41 babies.

Snakes are the question? Napalm is the answer.

Good reason for civilians to be allowed to own small nuclear weapons

We leased a ranch for hunting south of Sweetwater (Home of the famous Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup) for 30 years. In those 30 years we probably encountered a dozen rattlesnakes. We moved to another ranch we bought south of Abilene. A dozen a day was quite common. I remember drinking coffee outside one cold morning. My buddy said "Don't move". Less than a foot from my ankle behind a trailer tire was a 4 footer coiled up. I like to think the cold weather is what saved me from being bit that morning (18 degrees).

On the bright side, I'll bet he didn't have any rodent issues.

This is pretty common in Texas. Someone is always finding a nest with 40-50 in it.

Mental note.....if you buy a house in TX buy one on a slab.

The video that was cued right after the snake video showed a completely burned down house with only the foundation left. I thought it was obviously part two to the snake vid. Turned out to be about a wildfire. Part two made more sense.
