Do you know where this happened at Hollywood? No. My wife saw it on Facebook. Said kids put very strong firework in its mouth and duct taped it shut.

Nov 2011 Eastern Europe Two intoxicated youths in Bosnia duct-taped a firework in a German Shepherd’s mouth and blew off his face. But the torture didn’t stop there. The poor dog, known as Vucko, wandered in agony for five days, unable to eat and with maggots infecting the meaty pulp of his ruined face. Vucko was finally picked up by authorities and euthanized after vets were unable to perform reconstructive surgery.
It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

man thats awful, my dog almost had the same fate. never never let your retriever see you throw a lit fire cracker, bad thing is that ol hardheaded dog probabaly didnt learn a lesson.

Kendall, I agree with you. I don't counter hunters when they talk about head shots but I can tell you this.... my kids will be taught to never, even as an adult, never take a head shot as what you're talking about can happen.
I know guys do it and that's fine but my ego nor "saving" meat is that important for me to take a chance to put an animal through that.
Regarding these kids... it goes back to the kids' parents. Empathy and compassion obviously was not taught to the kids by the parents or caretakers.
