Late 80's, early 90's Oakland A's. Bash Brothers, Ricky Henderson, Harold Baines, etc. They had a hell of a lot of talent before they all used steroids. Were you around hsv when they were playing for the stars? One of the local stations would even televise some of the stars games. Oh yeah. I might as well have lived in Joe Davis stadium growing. I've got broken bats, batting gloves, you name it from hundreds of guys that came through Huntsville and other AA teams.
Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.
