I’ve got a couple

Years ago I called on the Gulf Coast a week out of every month. I ended up picking up a facility that processed fish oil from pogies. It was bad, in August, like really bad. I have a very strong stomach and carried one of our engineers in to spec a project. It was August and about 110 degrees. I made sure we stopped and ate a big seafood lunch then went to the plant. He puked in the parking lot.

Fast forward a couple years and I was tasked with the waste to energy industry. Me and a work buddy were seeing the two facilities in Miami. ALL the trash, both restaurants and homes, go to these big facilities where it’s dumped. They operate two over head grapple cranes and “fluff” the pit to stop compaction, in between loading the hoppers where the trash is burned in a boiler. Well me and my buddy stayed up way to late the night before and it was restaurant day (seafood again lol). My buddy turned green standing on the crane and ended up walking out before he embarrassed himself.

Rendering plants can be pretty bad too as well as sewage treatment facilities at certain times

Shrimp is freaking horrible, still ask myself why i eat something that smells that bad 😀

I popped the hatch on a poultry blood tanker and it exploded on me. I drove home in 30 degree weather, in my drawers, with my head hanging out the window I stunk so bad.

Picked up a quail egg one time hunting. It broke in my hand and was green inside. I swear I could smell it on my hand for a week.

Had to go into a autoclave that had been cooking human blood and tissues.
I almost lost it. Was so bad I had to go home to get a bath and wash my clothes from where the steam
had permeated them and me

Went to an apartment for a stopped up sewer and the guy in the apt was a wino and he had filled the toilet and a 5 gallon bucket almost full of the foulest, rot gut chit youd ever seen or smelt... It looked like watered down spaghetti sauce and the smell literally burned. I had to pull that toilet and in the process, I knocked over the bucket of chit

When I first bought the house and land that we live on now, there was a big white marine style cooler at the back of the property line. The guy had left a bunch of junk behind and I didn't think anything about it. I got ready to dispose of it one day and when I opened the lid I nearly fainted and puked at the same time. I didn't really know what it was at the time so I hooked a long rope up to my atv to drag it into the woods as far away from the house as possible. Hit a root on the way back there and that thing turned over. It looked like peanut butter pouring out of that thing, Turns out the previous owner had killed a deer and put it in that cooler and forgot about it. It had been rotting inside that cooler for a couple years. The smell felt like it burned my nose hairs
