Which app you using? Their new app dont work for me but the older pocket ranger app works like a dream
It may tLe 30 seconds to record a kill Same The pocket Ranger app is obsolete. Are ya'll serious? You have actually reported, and received confirmation using the pocket Ranger? Yep!

I keep telling y'all..................
Delete the garbage app(s). Aside from lots of folks having trouble using them, there's just no reason to give them that much access to information about you and/or your whereabouts (yeah yeah, I know......tinfoil hat and whatnot)
Print your license and your harvest record sheet. put them in a ziplock bag with a pen and stick them in your bag. Write the deer/turkey on it when you kill it. You have 24hrs (I think) to CALL it in and get the confirmation number and add it to the harvest report.
don't make it harder than it has to be.
better yet print 5 licenses leave 4 at home write the kill down on the license like gomer said. after you get deer to processor and make it home throw the license you wrote on away and put a blank one back in your bag or wallet now you dont have to deal with the DCNR's screwed up system at all problem solved.

I wonder how many deer never get reported cuz folks just give up cuz of that mess. I'm in this group. Downloaded the new app this year and it wouldn't work when I tried to register my kills. Wrote them on my harvest record.

Never have had a single problem on the net. Pocket ranger worked quick and easy couple times this year as well.

I wonder how many deer never get reported cuz folks in Alabama are damn certain this is the first step to making everyone TV trophy hunters. FIFY   Wouldn't that fall under quality control.

write mine on the paper gamecheck, wait until I am home a day or two later and check in online. Has worked every time, 3 minutes tops. Forget the app- it is a feel good thing to gather info on you, not an effective tool.
