Screw a junky Excalibur scope. I bought the tact zone and sent it back because the coating flaked off the inside of one of the lenses and stuck to the rear glass, or at least that’s what Excalibur told me. I sent that one back 2 years ago and upgraded to the twilight dlx for $80 and it won’t hold zero for more than 4 hunts (cost me a deer this year due to a shoulder shot from being off 2 inches to the right) and I’m very careful with my scope not to bump it on anything. If that’s not bad enough, now there is condensation on the inside of the scope for some reason. I’m going to send this one back and try to sell the new one and I’m getting a hawke. Everyone i know who has a hawke loves it and never loses zero.

Sorry you have had bad luck with them. I have dropped my xbow from my stand onto a large boulder. The illumination now doesnt work and I cant get the cover off to replace the battery as it is no longer round. Pretty hard hit. Scope still holds zero and it has been used 3 years since and 100's or bolts have been shot.

I have also heard/read great things about Hawke.
