Headed out the door in a sec. going behind the house in a creek bottom. Foggy but going when I can. Rut is getting going so thinking movement should be better than it has lately. Good luck guys!

On Wheeler refuge, in a new place that I have never hunted. This water is killing all my normal places to go.

Small 8 @ 640. Man he doesn’t know how close he was to taking a ride on my 4 wheeler

You must be hunting an area that they flood with their waterways because with the amount of water they are pulling right now the river and creeks are way down. The refuge in general has been slow for me this year. I think I've been 6-7 times and seen 2 deer.

Well I f$&#ed it up. Had 2 does come in. One got spooked as I was drawing to I rushed the shot. It went in the above the shoulder right at the neck. Arrow stuck in then was shook out. We tracked the blood for 200 yard across 2 wide swamp hole then nothing. We looked for almost 2 hours. If I would have took one more breath I think I would have been right on but the fever had me. I just need some meat in the freezer.

that sucks....
