Just for the record fellas.... I don’t know anyone that can shoot with me and I would never take a shot on an animal over 700 yards period and even at that distance it has to be perfect conditions. I really just wanted to see what calibers you all had in mind If one’s what you believe, and the other is your limit for deer, then a 1:7-8 twist 243AI or creedmoor will do what you’re asking, with the most efficiency. Yup and with the least amount of recoil, wear, and expense. Most of the PRS shooters have moved to 6MM flavored cartridges.
