Kids today can just look the lyrics up if they don't know them. We just sang what ever seemed to fit.
What I always sang:
blinded by the light
wrapped up like a douche
you know the runner in the night
Correct Lyrics:
Blinded by the light
Revved up like a deuce
Another runner in the night
Didn't understand the lyrics that I sand, and I still don't understand it: I assume it meant Ford Deuce Coup.
Hell I still have that one wrong and I had already become aware that it was Duece instead of Douche. I thought it was Blinded by the light Revved up like a deuce in the rhythm of the night
