Sitting here in the living room at the house. I've had 7 bucks chasing each other around in the back yard for nearly an hour now. Getting ready to start busting up the bachelor groups, I guess.
Nothing worth shooting, though...other than maybe a monster cowhorn with probably a 15-16" inside spread.

Have my son with me on his first hunt of the year and we haven’t seen anything. Sun started busting out and I thought this is going to be a good morning. Then poof just like that it’s gone again and the wind has really picked up. Would love to get him a shot at his first buck and would be happy to get a doe as well.

No more deer for me...I’m heading to help one of my buddies from work. He killed his first buck, a nice 10 point, this morning at his club (a couple of miles from our land). CJ is ruined now!!
