some of y'all pay over $100 to process a deer? that's ridiculous and even more so if youre quarteringthe deer for them the hard part is done, a quartered deer shouldn't cost anymore than $45 dollars to process on the high end of the scale. That's what I'm paying. Link sausage and the specialty stuff runs up the cost for me. I think the link with the good casings are about 3$ a pound. I brought back one from a Missouri bow hunt and dropped him of deboned at my local processor . then headed back up or the gun season a few days later I killed another buck brought him back deboned and dropped him off . Couple days later I got a call that my first deer was ready . So I asked how much it was and the girl said 187$ . I replied wtf for a deboned deer half sausage half burger where is Cody the owner ? When I got up there I said damn man you've priced me out this is crazy . He said I cut you a break for 150$ . buying my own chet to process my deer next year !
