To many fields are now being worked up in the fall and there is nothing for the birds to eat. The ducks and geese don't eat these new varieties of rice. Hell I've heard just about everything you can imagine. I think they just don't have the numbers and the few birds that make it down has no place to rest because every field or pothole in the marsh has a blind in it. Duck blinds are big money and some people will pay for the blind. Just like we pay for deer leases. I think pressure is the main factor in our area. Just my opinion

EVERY PLACE MIZZOU TO THE GULF IS HUNTED!!!! Bingo! Very little rest area!
