Short version is their lifetime warranty is total BS! Wanted me to pay $89 to repair a product that broke taking them off my hat to put on my face? Never again. I'm wearing a pair of flying fisherman right now. I like them ok. Time will tell how they hold up for less than $40. Oh and it looks like hey drug the lenses across concrete to be sure I couldn't use them when they shipped them back to me. Y'all know where they can kiss/suck so no need for me to say it

It’s a warranty against manufacturers defect

Much like warranty on your truck, run it into a brick wall and it isn’t their fault

They probably don’t recommend putting them on your hat if I had to guess

I had a pear do the exact same thing. They fixed them and sent them back for $9. That was a few years ago, though.

They sux. I’ve always felt that way after my first and only pair. $150 for crap that cost $5 to manufacture.

Same here. If not free, then drastically discounted.

I got two pair of $12 sunglasses that have been through hell. Both are still in fine shape. Probably couldn't loose them, or break them, if I tried.

That's funny, between reg truck, junker for farm and all the machinery, I typically break or loose a pair. Last pair got totaled by a cow stepping on them

Get Maui Jim’s. No matter what happens to them. Send them back with $75 or $80 new pair in less than a week. They will also take a pair of sunglasses and add your prescription to them if it changes. One of the best customer service departments ever.

This is about like that gun safe warranty thread. You broke them and they are gonna fix em for less than a new pair costs. Sounds like you win and Costa is hooking you up!

That’s lol. Don’t know about costa but I know for a fact Maui Jim will. Had my face crushed at 18 years old working cows while wearing glasses. Sent them a check for whatever it was at the time a week or so later had my knew glasses. Couldn’t wear them though for dang near a year.

Same here. My wife had some issues with a pair of hers one time and she sent them back but they could not fix them due to the frames being discontinued so they told her that she could pick any other pair she wanted and just call them back telling them exactly what she wanted and they would send them to her. She went online, picked some out, called them and they sent them to her with no problems.
