I've got a huge group of does that are coming out in a fence row with trees too small to put a stand in. I'm wanting a good portable ground blind I can move around to where they are coming out in the evening. I've got the Ameristep outhouse, but it's not a good bow blind. Which one would be a good one to go with and not break the bank?

The next one up from Ameristep is a good one. I think its G-30. I've two of them and have no trouble shooting out of them. Plenty of room. Hope this helps you out.

I've been thinking about buying the Predator Den from Cabelas. It's made by Primos/Double Bull, but costs quite a bit less than their other models. CD.

That's a good looking blind. I like the g30 and Brickhouse 360 too. What is the difference between the spring steel blinds and the hub blinds?

I think the hub style blinds are better in windy conditions. I borrowed a buddy's blind a few years ago that was a spring steel design that "twisted" up to stow, and it flapped around in the wind way too much for my liking. CD.

Double Bull is well worth the money. I have two and would strongly recommend them to anyone.

I have had an ameristep spring and got rid of it. I have a Cabelas hub style and like it very much. If you can open an umbrella you will have no trouble opening the hub style blind.

I have two of the Eastman blinds ($78.00) at Academy. I have killed 2 deer from the blinds. I am sure that some others are better, but for the money this blind has performed well for me.

I've got a Double Bull DarkHorse. IMO...it's the best blind on the market. I can have it setup in less than 20 seconds and is quiet as a mouse.

I'm 6' and two men my size have no problem in this blind, even bowhunting.

After we talked...I looked back through my checkbook and saw where I bought mine from GRANDSLAM on ArcheryTalk.com for $380. FYI

I have a Primos Ground Max. Got it at BP for aobut $120.00 on sale. Nice blind and easy to set up.

Let me know when you can do it as advertised in 7 seconds. Hell, I can't put my pants on in 7 seconds, much less set up my DB that quick. If you got it down to 20 seconds, you obviously read the instructions. smile

Here is the trick, let it sit there for a week or so, before you hunt it.
