Pain on hills or rocks, but still probably better than dragging. Easier with 3 buddies to rotate pulling/pushing/lifting over stuff.

I've had one for years. Great on level ground with no trees laying in your way. If you try to use it on a side hill it is useless. I'd get one of the plastic roll up sleds imho.

The bigger the wheels the better. I like bike tires after owning one with 10" sold wheels. They can be hell in real woods filled with logs and ditches. Still better than dragging one alone.

Spot on. If your pulling up a steep ridge you’re better off just dragging but they really shine on flat ground. I believe I’m going to start quartering them up and packing them out.

Yep, on the side of a hill you can't keep the cart upright. An ideal cart would have wheels sloping inward, the size of large bicycle wheels but a really low center of gravity.

I've used them to get several good deer out of the woods and on flat or rolling ground they are definitely better than dragging. Never tried one anywhere real steep or rugged.

I got the alumnium version its a little lighter. I used to drag deer a mile without one, cant do that anymore but I would go a mile with a cart. on the plus side they are pretty good at recording hills.

There's a spot I hunt thats 1.3 miles from my truck. It's all down hill in, which means all up hill out. The people who manage that tract decided it'd be a good idea to disc the trail in and out. I used a cart on it for the first time in Oct. Previously, we would use a small tree about the size of your arm/calf and tie the legs to it and both carry it out on our shoulder. With two people, the tree is easier. If the path wasn't disced, the cart would be ok by yourself. If I had a choice, I'd choose the tree and a buddy every time.

I quarter all mine and pack the meat out in an army rucksack. I'm done with dragging them.

I've brought several out with a single tire wheel barrow.

We use them all the time hunting public land in Illinois. Where we hunt has a lot of steep hills and hollers. We usually drag them down to flatter ground and put him on the cart. Definitely better than dragging.

If you have leaves or pine straw a Jet sled is pretty dang handy guys. on just dirt or mud...not good. Put you an old piece of hose over the rope to pull with more comfortable.
